Intensive Treatment Program

Our intensive treatment program is designed to guide and support youth and teens ages 9-17.

Youth and Families

Healing and Changing Together

At Equinox Counseling and Wellness Center, we specialize in working with teens, ages 9-17, who have complex psychiatric and behavioral health challenges that are causing high-levels of emotional and behavioral disruption in the home. Our individualized and clinically grounded treatment program allows them to move beyond resistance and engage in treatment. We work to help your child move from a place of self-destruction and avoidance to one of authentic relationship and connection.

Families seek our help when these challenges escalate to the degree that they impede family relationships, school and social functioning, psychiatric stability, personal safety, and healthy development. Each family that seeks our support and help in this challenging time receives an unparalleled treatment experience that is life-changing, innovative, and sustainable. And most importantly, it keeps your child in the home, your family intact, and is a cost-effective solution to out-of-home placement.

We're here to help! Get started by completing our initial qualification form.

OUR TREATMENT ENVIRONMENT

Whereas many programs and treatment environments promote connection around shared struggles and mental health disorders, our program is centered around wellness. Our environment is kind, calm, and compassionate with components of care that support resilience, positive self-identity, competencies for overall health, and prosocial connections.
