To heal families and end human suffering as it relates to having a child experiencing complex mental health issues. We want youth and families to have better, more meaningful relationships.
Service excellence is having a “client first” mindset in everything we do. First we listen, then we seek to understand the needs of those in our care. We strive to connect with kids and families by combining creativity and imagination with excellence--we call it ImagillenceTM. The way in which imagination and excellence are synthesized through belief and action. Through ImagillenceTM, we go beyond generating positive outcomes for clients and extend ourselves to our Team, our peers, and our professional community to grow and be present to those we serve.
We live and work intentionally, and our team members lead with purpose, cause, and a strong belief in the Equinox System of Care. The hallmark of the system of care is doing what we do with commitment, passion, and conscious thought--we act from the inside out with self-awareness. It means internalizing the daily work with youth and families and being able to answer the “Why?”. We use our system of care to capitalize on teaching moments, as an opportunity to give and receive feedback, and for innovating the ways in which we merge our intent, with clinical excellence.
Efficiency and impact of internal and external communication is fundamental to team process, client experience, professional relationships, and successful program outcomes. We are satisfied with nothing less than compassionate, thoughtful, and timely communication that fosters partnership and transparency with EQ team members, parents, educators, and other caregivers. This “always informed” approach ensures everyone is operating with the same information and consistency.
Our Team members understand we are accountable to ourselves, our process, our clients, and our community. We do what we say we are going to do in our relationships, our responsibilities, and our choices. We demonstrate commitment, discipline, and execution in everything we do, displaying loyalty and dedication to Family Level Healing.

We are a team committed to achieving the vision and mission of our program. Contribution, openly sharing ideas, and seeking feedback for the greater good of our team, our clients, and our culture. By building trust and demonstrating appreciation for each other’s strengths and weaknesses, the result is chemistry and synergy as a Team and for our clients.
Members of the Equinox team have not signed up for a job--we are a community of lifelong learners and like-minded individuals who share a common vision and an ardent desire to continually learn. Being a lifelong learner opens the door to life changing, rewarding, and fulfilling growth. Thoughtful completion of employee on-boarding, participation in training both in the office and on one's own, seeking mentors and pursuing knowledge with both curiosity and deliberation keeps us appreciating what we don’t know as well as how we can grow from it.
